T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 gamma chain, CD3-GAMMA, T3G, CD3G
CD3-gamma polypeptide is encoded by CD3 Gamma (CD3G) which together with CD3-epsilon, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, configures the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. The T-cell receptor-CD3 complex takes part in coupling antigen recognition to numerous intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. Deficiencies in this gene are associated with T cell immunodeficiency.
CD3G Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Insect cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 103 amino acids (23-116 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 11.8kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 13.5-18kDa).
CD3G is expressed with a 6 amino acids His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Sterile Filtered clear solution.
CD3G protein solution (0.5mg/ml) contains phosphate buffered saline (pH7.4) and 10% glycerol.
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
