BETV4 is primarily expressed in mature birch (Betula verrucosa) pollen and Causes an allergic reaction in human. BETV4 is a calcium-binding protein of 2-EF-hand type, which is exists in pollen of various plant species. This cross-reactivity can serve as a marker allergen for plant polysensitization.
Recombinant BETV4 produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 10,473 Dalton.
BETV4 is expressed with a 6xHis tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Sf9 insect cells.
Sterile Filtered clear solution.
BETV4 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-7.9 and 6M Urea.
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Greater than 80.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
