Introduction
Gltathione S-transferase PI 2, also known as GSTP2 is multifunctional enzyme which is involved in the protection of cellular components against anti-cancer drugs or peroxidative stress. Furthermore, down regulation of GSTP2 induces an increase of oxidative damage in the pyramidal cells of the CA1&CA3 regions as well as in the granular layer of the dentate gyrus, which at the end leads to structural and functional damage.
Description
GSTP2
Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide
chain containing 210 amino acids (1-210 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.5kDa.
The GSTP2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The
GSTP2 protein solution (0.5mg/ml) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) and
20% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4
weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or
BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
