Introduction
TSSK2 is a testis-specific serine/threonine-protein kinase required during spermatid development which phosphorylates TSKS at 'Ser-288' and SPAG16. TSSK2 takes part in the late stages of spermatogenesis, during the reconstruction of the cytoplasm. During spermatogenesis, TSSK2 is necessary for the transformation of a ring-shaped structure around the base of the flagellum originating from the chromatoid body.
Description
TSSK2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 381 amino acids (1-358 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 43kDa.
TSSK2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
TSSK2 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) containing 20mM
Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M Urea and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
