The PI3K?D946A protein is a catalytically inactive mutant of PI3K? with a D946A mutation in the ATP . This recombinant catalytically inactive protein can be used as a negative control in any kind of PI3K? kinase activity studies. Recombinant full length PI3KgDA mutant (126.3 kDa without Tag) carries an N-terminal GST-Tag which facilitates the protein’s application in typical GST pull-down assays.

0.4mg/ml solution in 25mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 50mM NaCl, 0.5mM MgCl2, and 50% glycerol.
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
