Introduction
ARP3 Actin-Related Protein 3, also known as ACTR3, belongs to the actin
family. The specific function of ACTR3 has not been established yet. On the
other hand, ACTR3 is identified as being a major constituent of the ARP2/3
complex. In addition, this complex is located at the cell surface and vital to
cell shape & motility through
lamellipodial actin assembly and protrusion. 3 transcript variants
encoding 2 different isoforms have been discovered for ACTR3.
Description
ACTR3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,
non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 441 amino acids (1-418 a.a) and
having a molecular mass of 49.8kDa.
ACTR3 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus
& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
ACTR3 protein solution (0.25 mg/ml) containing 20mM
Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) and 10% glycerol.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
