Fraction V 30 BSA Solution is a serum albumin protein derived from cows. This product is a sterile, amber-colored solution of concentrated bovine serum albumin, which is a convenient nutrient concentrate used to formulate media for bacteria such as Leptospira, Rickettsiaceae, Mycobacteria, Treponema, and parasitic protozoans. This solution is also used as a nutrient in growth media for the manufacture of veterinary vaccines and in the Treponema pallidum immobilization test. The 30 solutions can serve as a stock solution for using BSA in immunodiagnostic assays.
