LAYN, also known as Layilin, contains 1 c-type lectin domain. This protein is receptor for hyaluronate and Interacts with NF2, RDX and TLN1. The C-terminal domain interacts with the N-terminal domain of RDX. 

LAYN Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 237 amino acids (22-235) and having a molecular mass of 26.7kDa. LAYN is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques The LAYN solution contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
