Cofilin is a family of actin-binding proteins which disassembles actin filaments. It is a widely distributed intracellular actin-modulating protein that binds and depolymerizes filamentous F-actin and inhibits the polymerization of monomeric G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. It is involved in the translocation of actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus.
Anti-human CFL1 mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CFL1 amino acids 1-166 purified from E. coli.
CFL1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.
CFL1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity.
Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000.Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000.
