  • This antibody was produced in BALB/c mice. This antibody can be used to detect proliferating cells in living tissues after incubation with BrdU which will be incorporated into newly synthesized DNA of replicating cells (during the S phase of the cell cycle), in place of thymidine during DNA replication. Antibody binding requires prior denaturation of the DNA, by exposing the cells to acid or heat. Immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry. mouse IgG1 5-iodouridine covalently coupled to KLH.
