Description	6X Loading dye is most commonly used in order to monitor the progress of an electrophoresis run. It is combined with DNA samples in order to ensure that samples do not diffuse away when being loaded and also to provide easy visualization during loading. Consists of: Glycerol, Tris-HCl, and Bromophenol blue.
Concentration	6X
Composition	40% glycerol, 0.25% Bromophenol Blue, 6mM Tris-HCl Final Concentration
Protocol	Mix at least 1ul of the 6X DNA Loading Dye to every 5ul of the total sample volume before loading in the gel.
Storage	Store at room temperature for temporary purposes. For long periods, store at 4° for up to 12 months, or -20°C for longer.
Handling	Shipped at room temperature
