Protein Family	Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family.
Functions	Transcription factor which acts as both an activator and repressor. It binds the CACCC core sequence, including multiple sites in the 5'-flanking region of its own gene and therefor activate its own transcription. It is involved in the differentiation of epithelial cells and may also function in skeletal and kidney development. The product can be used in combination with other iPSC factors for the induction of iPSC reprogramming of any cell type.
