Tyrosine kinase inhibitor reported to block TNFα induced cytotoxicity. Also blocks glucocorticoid-induced COX-2 activity in human amnion cells (IC50=21μM). It has the ability to block LPS-induced production of nitric oxide in macrophages and tumor necrosis factor alpha.
