Actinonin is a bioactive peptide and an antibiotic agent. It is a potent inhibitorof leucine aminopeptidase,CD13, PDF(Peptide deformylase),meprin A,thermolysin and matrix metalloproteinases. The antitumor and antibacterial properties of actinonin is demonstrated in vitro.
