CHES (2-(Cyclohexylamino)ethanesulfonic acid) is a zwitterionic N-substituted aminosulfonic acid, Good's buffer. CHES is used as a biological buffer useful in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology experiments. It's useful pH range is 8.6-10.0. It has a pKa of 9.49 at 25C.
