ST638 is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 370 nM). It suppresses tyrosine phosphorylation induced by tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) and phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) in neutrophils and by angiotensin IIin cardiac fibroblasts.
