Lysostaphin shows optimal stability at pH 4.5 and optimalstaphylolytic activity and pH 8. We recommend storage asconcentrated protein solution in 20 mM acetate pH 4.5,and dilution into a more concentrated working solution(e.g. 200 mM Tris.HCl pH 8). Lysostaphin is a zinc enzyme, EDTA is inhibitory.
