Zika Virus is an enveloped, icosahedral Flavivirus and contains a non-segmented, single-stranded positive-sense RNA. Zika Virus is propagated in the LLC-mk2 cell line. Culture fluid is sold in 1.0 mL aliquots, and is shipped on dry ice. Each lot of viral culture fluid is assayed for its Tissue Culture Infective Dose (TCID₅₀), and sold with titers >10⁵ U/ml.?
