乳腺上皮细胞（HMEpiC）位于乳腺小叶的泡状腺，配合乳腺管和脂肪组织，形成一个复杂的乳腺系统。MEpiC受各种生长因子和激素信号影响，并在产前产后、青春期、孕期经历生长、侵袭和分化等过程。激素分泌、细胞外基质成分异常和其他遗传因素会引起MEpiC的增殖失控，导致乳腺癌的发展。了解MEpiC的特性将有助于我们研究乳腺癌疾病的发病机理和新的治疗靶标。
ScienCell实验室的HMEpiC分离自人乳腺，原代冻存，冰冻运输。每管细胞密度*过5×10^5/ml。细胞经Cyt-14,-18,-19的免疫荧光鉴定。本细胞经检测不含HIV-1、HBV、HCV、支原体、细菌、酵母菌和真菌。如采用ScienCell 实验室特制的培养基，可保证此细胞15次或以上的倍增。
