睫状上皮细胞位于睫状突后部的叶状突出上，覆盖基质和血管的核心。它是由在结构上和功能上都截然不同的两层柱状细胞组成。含色素的睫状上皮细胞基底膜面向基质，不含色素的睫状上皮细胞基底膜邻近房水。NPCEpiC的主要功能是产生房水，它们将溶质从睫状突基质转移到后室，从而形成渗透梯度使水从基质流向房水。其他研究证明NPCEpiC合成光传导所需的大分子和睫状体罕见肿瘤发展所需的大分子。
Sciencell研究实验室的HNPCEpiC是从人睫状体分离得到的，原代冻存，冰冻运输。每管细胞密度*过5×10^5/ml。细胞特性经cytokeratine-18,and-19免疫荧光鉴定。本细胞经检测不含HIV-1、HBV、HCV、支原体、细菌、酵母菌和真菌。如采用ScienCell实验室特制的培养基，可保证此细胞15倍增增殖。

Answers:

• The doubling time is around 25 hours at early passage and around 40-50 hours at late passage. Cells can undergo 3-4 passages but we highly recommend that customers use the cells at early passage for experiment, as primary cells may change morphology and become senescent over time if not handled properly during subculture.
