Description:	Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Ephrin B1 / B2 / B3 (Phospho-Tyr324)
Specificity:	The antibody detects endogenous levels of Ephrin B1 / B2 / B3 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 324.

Purification:	Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates. Antibodies were purified by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. Non-phospho specific antibodies were removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide.

Function:	Binds to the receptor tyrosine kinases EPHB1 and EPHA1. Binds to, and induce the collapse of, commissural axons/growth cones in vitro. May play a role in constraining the orientation of longitudinally projecting axons (By similarity).

Involvement in Disease:	Craniofrontonasal syndrome: X-linked inherited syndrome characterized by hypertelorism, coronal synostosis with brachycephaly, downslanting palpebral fissures, clefting of the nasal tip, joint anomalies, longitudinally grooved fingernails and other digital anomalies.
